Julian Sayarer has left the USA and landed in Portugal with 20 days to make it back to Paris. He pulled out some huge distances in riding across America. Anyone would think he didn’t like the place? Anyway, he’s currently stuffing up on olives, bread and cured meats while his brakes are fixed… follow in awe:

Co-incidentally I’ve been researching electric transport and came across these guys doing really nice looking electric bike conversions. And a good friend just Tweeted about the is asking if anyone would like to join him on the 1000 mile Ride Across Britain next year. Hmmm, I feel so inspired by Julian’s mighty efforts that I might just give this a go… 1000 miles in 9 days though… Mutley I have a darstedly plan involving an electric wheel conversion… he-he-he-he-he-heee.
